A Toast and a Roast to the late photographer Marc Raboy

This event happened at Stage 72 Theater – The Triad in NYC starting at 3:30pm. This Tribute was a collaboration between Marc’s two husbands, Jon Griswold and Keith Henry. Marc photographed and did the makeup for so many stars…Patti LaBelle, Liza Minelli, Gregory Harrison, Rob Lowe, Lucie Arnaz and her famous mom, Lucille Ball, just to name a few.

I loved the Emcee Hedda Lettuce, a fabulous drag queen who really kept the show moving!

Visiting my favorite pet, Gemini. She had a lot to tell me today! So good to run into guitarist June Millington (from the group Fanny.) At a gallery exhibition for Beatles’ animator Ron Campbell in Oyster Bay. Jackie Martling, me, Ron Campbell, Godfrey Townsend and Karen from the Long Island Picture Frame and Gallery.
Celebrating my birthday week with going to a T-Rex Tribute show. Here I am with organizer Joe Hurley and Rolan Bolan, Marc’s son, last night. Good to see them both. At the AES Convention, I always want to see my favorite friends and here is my long time friend, Piers Plaskitt (CEO of Solid State Logic), His daughter Paige Plaskitt and also Billy Amendola (Modern Drummer magazine.) Caught up with Doreen Ringer-Ross today for a lovely chat and a nice lunch. She was filling me in on all her travels that she has been on for BMI. Doreen has some gorgeous blue eyes.
I was so happy to run into Leslie Ann Jones. She is one of my favorite people in the recording industry. She is a multi-Grammy winning engineer and also is Director of Music and Scoring at Skywalker Sound. Here’s a motley crew that all ran into each other at AES show at Javits Center today. Producers Jeffrey Lesser, Russ Titelman, Jack Douglas and Jimmy Bralower. All I did was stand there and we all criss-crossed in the aisle. Here I am in Bay Ridge Brooklyn @ Grotto Restaurant. What a fab place. Carlo is the owner. One if the nicest people I’ve met.
